Membership
Who can belong to the krewe? The krewe is made up of children in grades pre-school through ninth grade. Since all of the krewe's activities are centered in Lafayette, any child can participate regardless of where they reside in Acadiana.
What fees are involved in membership? A family membership is $350 for one child, plus a fee of $50 for each additional child in the family. Additionally, a family is responsible for the expenses of each child's costume, beads and throws. Optional purchases include photographs, videotapes and official krewe apparel.
What does the family membership include? Membership entitles the family to full participation in krewe activities, including admission to age-appropriate krewe socials (we have a couple for the little kids and a couple for the big kids), tickets to the Spectacular Ball, a place for each child on one of the krewe's Mardi Gras parade floats, and Members-Only access on the website.
